Carpinteria, CA, August 6, 2018 – FlemingMartin is pleased to announce that BEGA, a world-renowned manufacturer of architectural lighting solutions, has hired Shawn Webb to be their new Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Webb brings outstanding experience to BEGA from his successful career in manufacturing operations and engineering. With over 20 years of progressive growth, primarily in the aerospace industry, Mr. Webb offers proven leadership abilities, a continuous improvement mentality, and exceptional implementation experience.

Mr. Webb most recently served as Director of Operations at AeroVironment where he led Manufacturing, Logistics, Production Control, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Flight Test, Sub Contracts, and Procurement. He was responsible for leading operations at four sites and spearheading the transition of multiple programs from development to production.

Before joining AeroVironment, Mr. Webb worked at Bombardier Aerospace for eleven years in various roles, including Director of Operations where he saved the company $21 million by implementing lean manufacturing principles. Mr. Webb is highly skilled when it comes to systemization, negotiation, and team building. He offers a great lean skillset and is known as an organized, thoughtful leader.
